Three more months until I come over here, hopefully everything workouts perfectly.
Voodoo Pyg, Knucklehead, Redtwin and 1 other person Thank this. -
It's easy, and no one bothers you. Facilities could be better, much better, but that's not a deal breaker for me.Voodoo Pyg, nextgentrucker, JohnBoy and 1 other person Thank this.

Sounds like a good deal!Voodoo Pyg and nextgentrucker Thank this.
-
And making money too I'm guessing.Voodoo Pyg Thanks this.

You might not make the money you think here , especially if they stick you doing local work for a terminal, it's not what it used to be that's why so many senior drivers are quittingnextgentrucker, Lonesome and bentstrider83 Thank this.

Your not getting crazy miles here unless you run on PC AG exempt from the farms and then they want 700-800 miles on one clock and back the same day, the company is trash now and lots of drivers quittingnextgentrucker, Lonesome, JForce28 and 2 others Thank this.

Definitely been some shakeups down at the main office in Florida. And I notice a couple of the sites we took tankers for washes aren't being used as much any more.
Nearly ten years over here and while the loads are still consistent, I'm having to pace myself to keep from totally wearing myself out. Keep riding under my own rules until I get another lecture from dispatch. Then it's hopping season again.nextgentrucker and Lonesome Thank this. -
1-3-25 = N/A (was off 10 days for Christmas break)
1-10-25 = 2,545 paid miles
1-17-25 = 2,161 paid miles
1-24-25 = 2,054 paid miles
1-30-25 = 3,017 paid miles
2-7-25 = 2,742 paid miles
2-14-25 = 2,583 paid miles
2-21-25 = 2,621 paid miles
2-28-25= 2,714 paid miles
Things are still normal for me as an OTR driver. I’ve only had two pay periods this year that were below the 2,500 mile mark. Although the one on the 30th could have offset and made up for the one on the 24th, so essentially, I’ve only had one that was below the threshold this year, depending on how you look at it.
When I add those numbers up, it comes out to 20,437. If I divide that by 8 paychecks, it comes out to an “average” of 2,554 which is on track with the “2,500-3,000 weekly average” myself, Cobra, and others have discussed on here. I realize today is only February 26th, but I was able to list the miles for 2-28-25 by looking at what I scanned in on Monday to be paid for on Friday.
I hope 2025 is going well for everyone on here. I’m in Texas today, headed home for some time off after I make my delivery.MIT, asphaltreptile311, bentstrider83 and 6 others Thank this. -
Ummm... Why would they have me do local work when I'm OTR... As long as I'm taking at least $1,400/week home, it ain't too bad. Also what would say some of the issues are? Lack of loads, bad management or other things?Last edited: Feb 26, 2025
