It's a license plate. Randon numbers/letters needed for identifying who owns what car. Vanity plates are for people who like to foolishly spend money. Nobody looking to foment a revolution is going to start it with vanity plate so their first ammendment right is still there. Most folks driving down the highway would appreciate not having to have a "Mommy what's 69pwndu mean?" conversation with their kid lol

 

Funniest one I ever saw was a girl with a Toyota 4Runner TRD. Plate said TRDGRL. I laughed for a long time thinking I wonder if she knows most people were reading it as Turd Girl
