Plus side to cylinder yards is they are typically only mon-fri unlike bulk.

Well that's another company that won't hire people from Maine. I called LGT to ask about my application. They don't hire out of Maine. Ignore that I saw one of their trucks in Maine this morning. Which I know depends on customer but still. I swear if I wanted to get into cryo again. I would need to see if SPT would take me back
scythe08 Thanks this. -
Valid point, and it’s all day shift. I’m not sure if they all do, but I know at least Messer, Linde, GenOx, and Matheson run 2 shifts in Houston.scythe08 Thanks this.

Northern Indiana. Had rolling start times. Not really shifts per see. A driver starts 2 hours apart most of the time. Airgas.

When i quit, that side got to me too. I felt I had more life and death issues doing step deck from a safety securement issue. With so much less interference from the mother company. Easy to do a job when not being pestered.

I’m pretty sure that’s what GenOx does, and I’m sure Airgas does too on the bulk side. Cylinders probably not so much since that’ll be a lot of M-F 9-5 places. Messer and Matheson in Houston both run mostly well defined shifts. You come in at a designated time and jump into whatever truck is available to do your runs.77fib77 Thanks this.
