drivers out of the conover terminal just got a pay rises a couple weeks ago. Starting pay I believe is now .41cpm, top .44. Stop pay is now $13 per stop.

Other terminals have different pay scales.

 

In theory running from one terminal to another isn't going to have stops between the two. I don't know what the job description is for guys hired out of Aberdeen or other terminals besides Conover. But as a conover driver there's always a reasonable expectation that once I get to another terminal that I may have to do a stop load out of it.

 

Stop pay makes a difference, I did LTL reefer for the better part of 10 years before car hauling....Base pay was ok at best but stop pay added up quick when your doing 10 or more drops..

 

I love how people are such skeptics at.. "there's no way they make that "

I've been here for years and I'd quit if I slipped to $70k.

If you're LAZY and won't move your tail or work... you won't earn.

It's a money maker for a go getter

 

What area are you working?

 

I run NC to the PacNW. Generally out 10-11... take off 4 or 3 and leave again.
It works well for me.
It may not for others, but there is good $ to be made running regional also IF you're willing to get it.
