Tell you something else "businessman", you better start making quartely payments to the government. And what about Workman Comp and unemployment insurance. There is more to running a business than just buying a truck and putting a driver in it. But you will find out when the IRS catches up with you and don't think for a minute that they won't, it might take them a couple of years but they will knock on your door one day and you will be so far in the hole that you won't never get out.

Very well put. AND not to mention, at least he's looking for a way to "do it right".
GUIZART, we have a very good reputable accountant that also happens to be a driver in his spare time. I will PM him with your link and see if he will respond with some solid advice. His screen name is RoadMedic. He's been here for a while and provided many people with very good solid tax and business advice.

You mean to tell me you guys get paid for driving a truck?
Wow i thought my boss was cool because he wasn't making me pay rent for living in his truck! -
You know what guys. I'm proud of him for asking this question. And maybe with some good solid advice, this man will provide several families with income for years to come. So lets not rake him over, lets help him and give him some credit for asking questions on how to run his company right, and also pay his drivers right.
jess-juju, rookietrucker and aiwiron Thank this. -
