Planet fitness is usually 24 hours Monday-Thursday. And they are usually very truck friendly

I am looking for a new teammate. I have been driving for 18 years. I know of a company that pays teams very well. it should be like 5k split each week.

That would be amazing. I’ve been driving for about 10 years now. I’ve never done teams though unless you count that very first month with a trainer.
    Where are you out of?

Out of Ohio, but I go where the money is. Last year I worked out of Nashville teaming with a friend on a dedicated. I don't need to be home. I just take a week or two off when I get burnt out. I don't smoke(you?) and I take showers everyday. Usually teaming we don't have time to stop at the gym, but I do run and do workouts on my 30-40min breaks. It's possible to stop at planet 1 or 2 times per week. I am looking to team in April. The place I want to team at is just north of Atlanta. They pull 53 dry vans and don't require endorsements. Do you smoke, can you drive nights, can you sleep in the truck when someone is driving?

I don’t smoke. But now that I really think about it I don’t really want to live that lifestyle. I think I’m going to stick with solo regional jobs

It's not for everyone. To me it's easier than solo. You get paid more, and you don't have to drive more than 11hrs. When you are tired you just switch drivers. You never have to work and drive a 14hr day. If you change your mind in April and want to try it for a few months, lmk

Agreed a decent diet with good activity levels will do wonders. Sometimes I feel like people intentionally overcomplicate things so they can make excuses.

Good luck driving team and having time to work out. General terms are dispatched at 1200 a day. That give you 2 hour to stop the truck for fuel showers and bathroom and eating. Lose 30-45 minutes at fuel island then traffic delays. Running teams is not easy. You lose 15 minutes just to stop and pee. By time you slow down get parked and use Bathroom get back in the truck and get truck rolling and back up to speed is 15 minimum. Same problem with showers, you have to park and walk inside get shower walk back to truck and gets rolling again. That like 1 hour if your fast. That leaves you 1 hour left to fuel truck and eat.

Yep, I tried this many years ago when I first started out. It didn’t work out so well. Now, if you have a dedicated route, it can easily be done. But not if you’re just running everywhere. Otherwise you’ll find maybe once every two weeks the stars align when you can actually go to the gym while doing random OTR work.
