That's a small part of their operation that they acquired back in 2011 when they bought out Koda Transport.
Looking at their website and searching industry news sites i see nothing suggesting they are closing, just selling those properties.Magoo1968 and Phantom Trucker Thank this. -
They are selling all of their FSJ and GP properties. Where are they relocating to if they are staying in business?
-
They have operations in Fort Saskatchewan as well.
Could be exiting business areas up that way and focusing on the high vapor pressure hauling side of the business. I still see their trucks regularly. -
That’s possible, yes trucks are still on the road, though yard has always just looked like a parking lot. I see a $45M loan a couple of years ago that may be stinging a bit.
Phantom Trucker Thanks this. -
Yeah, very likely those lots are not generating alot of revenue, or enough to make it worthwhile.
Likely worth quite a bit more than they paid for the property as well. -
I looked on Ritchie Brothers and a couple other dealer sites and didn’t see any of their equipment up for sale/auction. They must just be restructuring.

I'm sorry but after driving though Saskatchewan in January going to BC I never realized how desolate it is there. Some of the nicest people I've met in Canada are live there. However, once leaving Virden, Winnipeg on its gets extremely desolate to Regina, SK then mlte desolate after Maple Creek, SK. My phone signal cut off a few times and it was honestly eerie. On the way back to Ontario traveling there at midnight was like something out of a horror. You can winedown the window and its a dead silence besides the slight winds blowing. A great place to film horror films. Yet, it does have beautiful a beautiful landscape as far as someone can see. Were a beautiful big land mass country and I can honestly see why Donald Trump wants to annex Canada beside just our resources. (Sorry for the off topic regarding the thread topic).
Its said that
Oculus Transport Ltd., a Canadian oilfield transport and logistics company, received a C$45 million senior secured term loan from Great Rock Capital in August 2019, not closing back then. However, this shows the sign of the times Properties Sale: Oculus Transportation Ltd. | BOE ReportBigHossVolvo and Albertaflatbed Thank this.
