What our guys do is use one short piece of rope for each d-ring. I have only seen one tarped load come into the yard, and I only saw it from a distance. I would have liked to go up and take a closer look, but they had the tarp pulled off before I even had a chance.

I suppose you could use one piece for each d-ring. Don’t know why you would. It would be a lot slower with no real benefit that I see.

Well I'm subscribed to this thread. I've always been curious about using rope or bungee rope. I currently use it on the front and back of the tarps but never found the extra time to work it into my work flow while tarping currently...
