But @tramm01 it is so wonderful to be held in such esteem by our girls. The pride in them just leaving it with Daddy is only exceeded by our own of being able to do it. Even handled a couple by LD phone; to old favors called in, for since I have not been able to go/get in person. I am still surprised sometime by the "Bread I cast upon the waters" still floats up."

 

It always amazes me how you western folks drive 600 miles like it’s 60. If we go 3 hours down the road the wife is making motel reservations.

Anyway… you married her off for a reason. Sounds like the son in-law should be making a solo flight.

Heather called last night wanting to know if the daughter had a spare tire. She has a flat at the McDonalds. I say “should be in the trunk”. She says I guess I know what I’m doing tomorrow. I says “why? Just call triple A”. She said oh! I forgot about that.

I have shown these girls at least 3 times how to change a flat. Each time the look at me like it’s black magic.

I believe I’m getting played. But triple A is cheap

 

Haven't you seen his photo when shows off a new haircut or teeth cleaning. I'm not positive be I believe I've seen that same photo at the post office.

 

You don't quit wanting it you quit using it. Did it for 18 years, been quit now for 20 something years. Every time I see it I can almost taste it. It'd probably make me sick as a dog it I tried it now.
