Oh, I got you. I wouldn't want to blind side either then, if I were you. That would be a pain to try getting out every few feet to adjust those mirrors. I was meaning some of the drivers I see sometimes that blind side and won't work their mirror. They'd rather make it more difficult on themselves I guess.
WOULD YOU PARK HERE? SITE PLAN FEEDBACK NEEDED.

I'm really trying to help out OP before his/her/it's property gets destroyed...
Before you sink 200K trying to figure out how truck drivers park, go sit at the fuel island at Loves on I-35 in Wilmer TX, or the PF/J on I-20/35 at 7pm on a weeknight.
Truck drivers will destroy your property, period, just trying to park.

I see other truck parking lots in DFW. They all seem to be full, so it should be a money maker if you run a tight ship.
Guys won't just want to park their trucks there. They will want to use the space to park their car while they are out on the road. They will want to do mechanical work on their truck on your yard, with their car or a repair truck parked in front of their vehicle that blocks other vehicles trying to park. They will dump used motor oil and oil filters on your yard. They will leave garabage and human waste on your yard, use it as a toilet. They will bring their friends and families to picnic on your yard while they fiddle with their trucks. The gate password will be given to their friends. The cartels may use it as a transit point for their shipments.
Is it possibe to provide a 24 hour livestream so drivers (and the local police department) can monitor the yard in real time? And make it archived so they can go to certain dates and times to review footage of activities on the yard. And not grainy video. Use high definition cameras that can zero in on the smallest details. Most truckers are experts on surveillance/counter surveillance/security systems so they will appreciate this.Last edited: Mar 20, 2025

Would I use this lot?
no.
first the surface is wrong, cement is the right way to do it.
second I don’t trust others, no live security. I used one lot to park trucks and had one truck canablized for parts.
third the location isn’t the best.Sons Hero Thanks this. -
how wide and long are the spots?
more room makes easier parking, especially at nightKhalilConstruction Thanks this. -
