His location shows Cheyenne, which I’m guessing, is Wyoming? They do a lot of turns there, but, no facilities.

Dot has a ton of part-time drivers who only run a load per week, only weekends, etc. One wouldn’t necessarily have to work their available 4/4 schedule.

It's never too late. As the dollar continues to become more worthless gold will continue to rise. I remember when it was a only a few hundred an ounce. Sure wish I'd got some then!

They have no facilities in Cheyenne. However, they do a bunch of trailer swaps at the J.

Yes. They generally run multi-temp food loads. However, the part time drivers usually run shuttles DC>DC or trailer swaps.

If you have a good diesel pickup you could go sign on at one of the camper hauling companies in Elkhart County, Indiana. The small one I worked for doesn't care if you come and go. Lots of guys do it seasonally or off-and-on like that. Doesn't pay a hell of a lot to run a truck, but it's fun when the weather's nice and easy/low hassle as far as trucking jobs go. "I'll be there Wednesday with your trailer." "Okay, any time between 9 and 4 is fine!"

    Lonesome and Opendeckin Thank this.

RV's have been in the tubes for a couple of years. Lots of layoff, plants closing, or changing names. Couldn't tell you if the haulers are busy or not.

My buddy does it. He drives tankers for Liquid Transport out of Liberty, MO. He usually works 3ish days per week and does well.
