I just got me one of these. The Original SuperScraperI’ve only done a couple gaskets but wow!!! What a difference. It’s got like a square stone on the end. This is amazing compared to razor blades or any other gasket scraper I’ve used.

Anaerobic flange sealant is typically what's called for on most stuff these days. At least that stuff is (in theory) non-hardening.
