If all you're going to do with a pickup is pull a bass boat down to the launch on the weekends and then commute to work the rest of the week it's perfect.
Other than the power train it's got the same brakes as any other F-150. Got more power than any other stock F-150 too. Range would suffer a bit with a trailer but a boat is about the best thing it could pull between being light weight and so low profile it would have barely any wind drag. Rolling resistance from the tires on the trailer would be the biggest impact on range.
At least it's an actual truck unlike that pile of #### Tesla made.
Whole lot of people who buy a massive diesel trucks just to drive them 5 miles to work and back. Then they complain when the emissions system fails because they never drive long enough for the engine to get up to temp and regen properly. -
Petro still runs it. There was like 15 TA service trucks over there just doing repairs. Saw similar at a TA down in VA. Back row was a line of trailers and a few service trucks just lined up in front fixing them.

That’s not bad it gives you a better squeeze on your head gasket. Any type or sort of sealant on the spacer plate takes away from liner protrusion. When you’re only playing with a couple a .00’s it’s gamble.

This was the meaning behind this post from me on 2-21-25. MoBee talked of a fatality crash on a certain highway in TX and she "adopted" the young boy who survived. I even asked her about the location of the crash and I researched it. Turns out there was a fatality wreck in that same area 3 or 4 months prior and I think she just wove that into her "story".Last edited: Mar 25, 2025

The Petro here in Salina is an Amazon trailer service point now. They're paying a local tow company to shuttle them from Wichita up here and back when done. He's smiling all the way to the bank.

Man I screwed that up.

I've always understood it that the sealant is to keep the typical seeping of oil under control from between the head and the block. Like you said, a gamble but might keep a guy from coming back talking about how it leaks after it's built.

This is my favorite dog that we've ever had. She's 11 years old.
Has never been the wandering kind. Until we got this miserable SOB.
I just came in the house, been looking high and low for them for about 6 hours. I hate this. I'm so f' ing mad I can't even see straight. And I can't do anything to keep looking until the sun comes up.
