You are spot on and why I use it on ones I build for outside folks. But I also cut my own blocks and run em to the high side of spec.

Shellac or aviation sealant #3 as well as spray on copper coat work best without causing much interference. I cut a block for a boy last summer he used that anaerobic sealer on the spacer plate gasket. It doesn’t compress like people think immediately blew the head gasket and by time his customer run it from Arkansas to Ohio and back the head needed surfaced too from the liners jumping up and down. So I get not wanting an oil leak but at what cost. If the top of that block is flat and in good shape she’ll seal if not well someone has to decide what they want. Course I pull a draw file across every one I do before the liners go back in. It’s a tedious process and some cry that no way can I get it flat without sending it to be surfaced. They may be right but I truly believe with patience and sweet oil you can thread a wet noodle up a wild cats ### lol

Oh man. Id be conducting biological warfare. Find a farm and fleet type store and put some rat poison sticks in a side box. That will kill it.

I'd use good old spring traps set at night. Last thing you want is the little ####er grabbing some poison and then dying behind a panel someplace and rotting in the Arizona sun.

Nah they are easy to find. I bought a cheap gas sniffer at harbor freight for finding leaks in my ac system. It also picks up dead ####.

No. The road surface is getting closer to a dirt bike track than an interstate though. US 35 in WV has some messed up bridge approaches though that will toss you out of the seat if you hit them fast and light.

The glue traps with a spoon of peanut butter shoved under a seat will do.

It hasn’t ran in probably 25 years, but it will when I get it in the shop. I still have the Case - Detroit mowing machine that mounts on the right side. 100% mechanical with no hydraulics, and it will now standing up as well as laying down. Tractor was an old state road tractor is my guess, lot of yellow paint under the red, and with that mower you can mow road sides where vines and briars overhang the road….
