This the season….

 

I’ve threatened to just buy a 6’ finish mower for 3 point, Shane to have a bunch of tractors and then buy another one to have to change oil on and service. Just a few close areas here that it wouldn’t benefit me.

The X780-790 JD has power steering which I like for my wife, her hands are bad a shape as mine with arthritis.

The cub Cadet super LT 1554 I have now is 16 years old this year. 27 hp Koehler/ 54” deck and has been a great machine, but, steering finally went out on it over the weekend. I could fix it if I can get parts, but I’d still have a well worn machine in the end.

Nearest MF dealer is probably 55 miles away, the Ford / New Holland dealer is down in Ashland KY about 35-48 miles away. JD dealer is about 3 miles away, just never was a big fan of smaller JD stuff, and not sure about the Kawasaki engines they prefer to use. I’m not exactly a small guy, the JD X780 I set on felt like the seat was way to high, or the steering wheel was way down low, not really comfortable at all…..

 

That's exactly my point!!!! F that nonsense of running for fuel money. You and I both know there's a hell of a lot more to a truck than just fuel.

made by TYM korean outfit ? If so they purdy good . Might of got a better deal from Tym . I think it's called tym. Heard lots of good things from kioti , also korean , they've made the small john deere b4 if not currently.

Most all the compacts are either South Korean or Japanese. JD manufacturers in the US but the components are foreign

 

I priced a comparable JD. They are freaking insane. $40,000 was their price. Almost twice the price

 

daedong is kioti , kioti is N American name , btw they make a diesel commercial zero turn and 75hp skid steer. TYM is red they are expanding in US market . Looked at em last yr .
