    Just want to clarify something.
You said in one of your first posts that you went to work for Windy Hill right out of school, which would have been in 2006 that you started.
Three weeks ago you said you had been with them for seven years, now you are back to four years.
Do you actually drive for Windy Hill?
Drivers write to this forum asking questions so they can make a decision about what they are going to do with their lives. They are hoping to get honest answers, whether the company is good or bad, then they can make their own decisions.
Personally, I would have a hard time taking the word of someone that doesn't seem sure how long he has worked for a company.
I'm not calling you a liar hand, just sayin' some of your posts are confusing.

    Robin

Robin - I have been with Windy Hill 4 years - came straight out of school - and I love it I get plenty of miles and am currently driving a 2007 Freightliner - I can tell you the oldest truck on the fleet is a 2005 - so whoever put that last message up is wrong - they have no 20 year old junk

Yeah, I noticed that also and in his post of a few hours ago, no response to that concern.

He does reply to the original opening post again though. Curious......

Here ya go! You want some information about Windy Hill? My son worked for them a little over a year. He was treated good and made alot of money because he was always driving. Then the circus happened. Being a brand new truck driver, I was a nut case worrying about the icy roads and snow storms but he made it thru every time. Well, after that last bad ice storm here in Ohio, he was going over an overpass and a gust of wind caught his trailer and that was all she wrote. It took out 2 cars and he was fired. Nobody was hurt, thank God. At least they didn't fire him officially until they gave him a ride with another driver back down to Florida. They cleaned all his stuff out of his truck and shipped it down to him. Only good thing is...they didn't fight the unemployment claim. Personally, I am glad he's not driving anymore. I give all truckers a whole heap of credit for what they do. It's hard work, lonely and dangerous out there. My hats off to all of you!!! Bgirl
