When I first started driving a truck, I had never been to Wisconsin. I had to run up there a lot on the 2 lanes through small towns and I noticed that while the town may not even have a gas station or post office, it would usually have at least 2 bars.
Running tanker for QC I had to go through the city streets of LaCrosse a lot. In one 3 block stretch of George St there were 4 bars.

Nothing at home worth eating so we went out. I got the 16 oz ribeye, hasbrown casserole and fried okra. It was an excellent choice.

Almost forgot to add this from mannys chop house in Haines city on Wednesday night. Very good.There was more but I couldn’t wait to eat some. About $44 after tip. Even paying for parking at the pilot, company paid for it this time and walking over makes it worth it. The heat though that makes it tough.
