More than likely, just use a diesel tank heater setup, to keep it from freezing only. It would just need to be kept around 40 degrees F.

I ran a JWAC after the air to air on my 359. Independent of the engine. Ran a S-10 radiator and electric fans with a 12volt RV pump. 2 air tanks for added capacity. On a long hard pull the intake air temp would still raise the JWAC to the temp of the air coming out of the CAC you could feel it in the seat as well as see it on the gauges. Now my set up was crude and I’m not sayin it compares to theirs. I have witnessed something similar work is all.

For what it’s worth the Germans have always had the best engineering skills. It would make sense that Europe is ahead of us in design quality of lots of things. In my mind it makes sense for it to be easier to move about in Europe rather than cross the pond. We recruited a German engineer to design the A bomb. As far as mechanized war fare the German Tiger tank and the Russian Panzer were far superior to our Sherman. It’s nothing new that they are ahead of us so to speak. What makes the difference is we are a bit scratchy…..founded by outlaws who didn’t want to bow to the queen without representation. Lol not sure where I’m headed with that
