Excuse me Mr. Perfect!
It's all about the economy. When freight levels go up, even felons (depending on the type of felony) have a chance.

unfortunately, with the economy as it is companies can afford to be picky about who they hire, so with a questionable background you are at a high risk level versus others.I am sure csa 2010 has a whole lot to do with it also. keep trying someone will hire you.

Now is the time to get hired at LTL companies. I just left the Career Builder site and just about all the LTL companies have jobs posted.

I have a possession misdemeanor and it was dismissed. One accident that was partally my fault in my personal vehical but no ticket's were issued. I show were the charge was dismissed and I don't have any problem getting hired on. That was about 8 year's ago now. DUI over a certain time shouldn't be an issue as long as it's not a repeat offense.
I have to say, you have the best post I have ever read from a new driver. Nothing picky about what you said and your keeping a very open mind and trying to stand your ground all at the same time. Not many do that. Most other's expect to end up on top right from the get go and it doesn't work that way. Everything you have listed are fact's and concern's to be worried about as I too along with other's worry about pay starting out and having to team with someone for all you know could be a complete psycho path. -
#### dude, that was harsh. We've all screwed up and made a mistake at some point in our life no matter how big or small. No one is perfect. If perfection were of the escense, the world wouldn't be in all the #### it's in now. Give the man some credit. He's trying to do good and work hard to make an honest living other wise by all mean's he could be another one of those who would never let such a career cross his mind and never have come here but instead be on the street slingin' drug's. Some start out good and stay good. Some start out bad and stay bad. Some start out good but turn bad and vise versa.
Lighten up and give the man a break. He's actually one of the first newbie driver's I've seen come in here knowing exactly what is going on and what he will have to face to get his foot in the door. Accroding to your info your still a student making you a newbie as well so don't bash the guy for trying to right his life and make it better.
From some of your post's, you sound like you think your gonna be top dog, king #### when you get a truck and instantly become a super trucker. No pun intended but that's just MHO. -
In Nevada a seat belt is not a moving violation, it is a vehicle violation. Check your state law. I found the Nevada State Regulation on line.ptropixxx Thanks this.
