They have just signed a new partnership with a company named netradyne. They specialize in driver facing cameras that are in 4k and have special AI capabilities.

I’m thinking eventually it will be impossible to find a driving position without the inward facing cameras. They feel so oppressive, it’s hardly worth it, but we need to earn a living.

The AI is crude, not yet ready for deployment. Drivers are being used as non-consensual guinea pigs to help train the AI because people in tech and Megas have no morals or ethics. The eventual goal is the elimination of truck drivers all together. You are expected to cooperate with your own extermination. This is what the people calling you a "nazi" say.

I wonder how many drivers they will lose this time. It didn't work out so well the last time they tried it.

Doesn’t sound like driver facing cameras to me..what’s your take on this article?

“ D-450 is the company’s latest four-camera video telematics device. It provides a 270-degree view through a road-facing camera and two side cameras in a compact, windshield-friendly package. The D-215 builds on the D-210 Driver•i system with an integrated connectivity module and improved installation experience.”

That article is a sickening read, with all the stroking going on. Desk jockeys make this industry miserable.

That quote you provided fails to mention that pesky 4th camera.
And the inward facing camera also has a wider field of view than the other 3 outside cameras.
