Green Apu?

Sounds like a typical APU. It also drowns out all the background noise around me when I turn it on. It’s quieter than a truck engine.

 

They want 13,000$ for it now install included 500$ on top of that to remove your old apu if you swapping.

 

Still worth it. Had it for almost 2.5 years at this point . 0 breakdown and 3 oil changes($50 each oil change if you do it yourself). Cools and heats better than any other apu on the market

 

thank you for the info. any more reviews? I'm in the market for one. I've never used APU, however I run reefer, so I'm used to sleep with noise. Thermo king here in Utah has one with under 5k hrs for $ 8500 installed. it is in good condition. no warranty.
I have no idea if this price is fair.

My friend in Phoenix who used to work for ThermoKing, can install a used TK Evolution with new A/C hoses and drier anywhere between $5500 and $6800 out the door.

The price is dependent on how many hours the unit has on it.

I run a Westinghouse genny with a window ac unit and a 6 gal boat tank. Total set up cost was under $700. Runs about 50 hrs on a fill. if something breaks on my set up, I can easily go to a Home Depot or a Lowe’s or another hardware store to replace any parts of this setup and have it done within a day. Takes me about 3 min to set everything up

 

I would ask why was that unit taken off the truck it was originally installed on (which you’re never going to get the real answer) and how many hours on it. For that kind money they should give you some sort of warranty, hell even 30-90 days.

 

I thought something was fishy when folks were saying their IL 2 banger was smoother than a 3 cyl .
