So a friend of mine called me said I need a favor. This ol boy is sorta sketchy so I says depends as I draw up and brace for impact. Without hesitation he says I f’ed up and filled Mona with helium instead of air now the ##### is floating around playing hard to get. Can you bring that .17 of yours over and shoot her down? But look m’fer don’t pop her in the cootch……

Man, I'd be coaching him to split one of the fuel tanks for a hydraulic tank, or just order a split tank. I have had two tanks built by AlumiTank. They match Pete tanks nicely. Probably have to have cooler too for walking floor?

I do like the idea of splitting a tank. He has 150’s and I rarely see him go more than 300 away from home so it wouldn’t affect him much if any. I may not ask him just do it, the fuel tanks need repainted anyway. Yes we run a cooler on them they sure seem to do better. Sometimes with a load of hulls it’s 20 to 25 minutes to unload depending on how much he shook them down. Wet DDG which makes 0 sense if it’s dried distillers how can it be wet lol can be a pull on the motor. Gin trash and cotton seed isn’t too bad though.cke, singlescrewshaker, jamespmack and 10 others Thank this.

Curious buggers. Was doing some work on a tractor in a field a couple summers ago. You'd look over your shoulder and suddenly there's 8 of them staring you down from 20 feet away.singlescrewshaker, cke, jamespmack and 13 others Thank this.

Wow! It would have to be mid to late 80s I would think.
My first truck was an 83 359 with an A model. I bought it used from a dealer in SLC in 87 with a fresh OPT warranty rebuild on it. I was hauling swinging meat to LA at the time and something let loose in the head. I had it towed there and they rebuilt it. I got a ride home with a friend of mine while they rebuilt it. I rode back down with him the next week and got there just as they were getting ready to fire it up. They cranked on it numerous times - had smoke out the stacks but it wouldn't fire. Then they went after it with ether and moments later I was literally escorted out of the shop back to the lounge.
It all ended up OK, but as it turned out they had the pump 180 degrees out as I recall.
That brought back memories!CAXPT, singlescrewshaker, cke and 14 others Thank this.
