It definitely takes the "fun" out of it. I was actually in line at a scale the other day, and heard a couple guys giving advice on getting a load off at the dump site, the driver they were trying to help told the, he just couldn't figure it out, they replied "sit tight, we will be right over to give you a hand." The thought that went through my head, "this is why I love trucking."
Thank you

Well i guess I just want to thank Pharm for the entertaining bit of reading, and hope he does ok in the future.
But this thread IMO died when pharms tranny died .
So i say fare well to all of you . it was a good fun reading the adventures of a fledgling OO in a dog eat dog economy . -
I felt the members that have followed this thread should know that Rob is officially done with trucking for now.
He has been very open with his HIGHS and LOWS during his trucking career. He has not been on the Forum for 4 months so,I doubt he comes back.
His truck has been returned to the finance co.
Rob will be ok. He will rebound. I doubt it is in trucking. I wish him well.
Rob was lucky to have had the help of PHARMPHAILPARTSREPLACER. Thanks for helping Rob.
I posted this info because I felt this thread deserved an ending.Scarecrow03, 7mouths2feed, jamesd503 and 20 others Thank this. -
Thanks for the update Wayne. I wish him and his family well. Since he had his own Authority why did he not try some other aspect of trucking...reefer....flatbed, ect?
No offense to Rob, but lets hope the Mods come in and lock this one so we dont have to put up with all the n#t huggers and there "I told ya so....." comments.

Fratlosttrucker, HwyPilot, ampm wayne and 1 other person Thank this. -
I hope the best for him. He tried to do the practically impossible, and gave it a real try. Good luck Rob.
Thanks for the update Wayne. -
I spoke to Rob via text last night and was shocked to hear the news from him. The last time I spoke to him prior to last night's text message, things were looking to be on the upswing.
No one can ever say he didn't try and try again. -
Wow,what a bummer! Thanks for the up date gentlemen, even though it's not what I wanted to here. Oh, poor me. Pharm, don't you dear feel bad. Yeah, easy for me to say,but you have inspired quite a few people out here and it shows by all your friends that keep this run alive. Believe it or not, there are folks out there who truely care about you and piss on the others. All I can think about is the movie "Treasure of the Siera Madre" and the line goes "Your young enough to make 2 or 3 fortunes for yourself. Don't forget that! Because, even though your hurting over this, I want to see you back!

That's a really sad end...Pharm inspired me a lot... I'm right now in the process of becoming O/O...searching for a truck...well, best wishs for Pharm..GOD BLESS U!

Wow, I hate that it came to such an abrupt end. i would certainly like to read or hear more on how his adventures ended up this way. This thread was like a good book for awhile. i spent many hours trying to catch up to it when i first discovered it. This thread is what originaly got me to sign up on this bored. Hate to see him out of business, i just wish we could have heard a little more on how it ended.
