They make crimpers for that. But your right. In a emergency put heat shrink or tape over them. I just used one this week on my trailer. Because I didn't feel like pulling a wire front to back. Just for my dump axle. About 3 years I'll be mad at whoever did that.

 

My dad bought some of those. He showed me them. I took them out of his hand and dropped them in the trash can.

I had more attitude at a younger age.

 

Them, them 3M. Someone used one on a crane limiting wire harness and it took me days to find it.

I get zapped of energy pretty quickly. I'm trying to do as little as possible. I have an appointment Friday to find out how bad it is. For now the diagnosis is bleeding ulcers and the anemia from low hemoglobin is likely what caused me to hit the floor.

 

Cruising through Milwaukee this morning when I noticed @cke going by the other way.
