Both work equally well for whoopin a fightin cow in the face. Now that that part of my livin is mostly behind me I can probably keep a Sunday hat or two. I will say nothin worse than a sunburnt noggin and speedo tan lines on a fat guy

As they should. Anyone who speeds in a construction zone has never had to work in a construction zone.

I can’t say anything about the speedo, but can confirm that a sunburnt noggin is almost as painful as a hemorrhoid.

I have a question for you gear grinders which is half a rant. Monday I took a job for a plant to plant move. However they wanted a higher cargo insurance. I carry 100k. They wanted 250k. Ok, no problems. It's be a few years but normally they charged me 70-80 bucks for 24-48 hours.

Here was the options the gave me.
    24hr increase to 250k for 675-700 bucks
Increase for the rest of the year to 250k for 300

Agent claimed GW is no longer doing temp increases except for current policy holders.
Which I gave them a big "Gee thanks".

So in the past, I also know I could call a third party insure. So started making phone calls, and Google.

44 phone calls later. I learned a few things. Getting a human on the phone was no help. Not one had any idea what was going on. Even the services who sold said product. 3 spoke to me, and explained it. Then directed me to the website to complete it. They could not complete it. I needed to do this myself. Which I asked "What is your job then"?

One I received a quote for 172.50. One 88.00. Ok that's fine. But both had website issues and had to call back, which they had to get numerous other people on the line to help with this. Twice heard "they were a new person" and didn't know. I gave up with those services because I was in a rush.

I got lucky. With 3 hours left in deadline. Customer told broker to just send it. He is only going 12 miles. Which baffles me.

Who has a service that actually offeres customer service? I wanna call in and speak to a knowledgeable person and purchase a service. I do not want myself picking coverages on a website incorrectly. Because I'm not a insurance agent.

And anyone else F#*&ing sick of apps and websites? All this technology has complicated things, not improved things.

I'll save the rant for auto insurance and having to take pictures and send in vs them sending out a adjuster. Its been two months and I'm still hot over that.

Tug Toy, Friend, CAXPT and 18 others Thank this.
