Amazon enters LTL

Or in the latest adventure this morning…. I deliver another tv ordered on Amazon. I get blamed for delivering the wrong one.

They tell me they didn’t order this model, ok no problem I’ll put it back on my trailer and move along here. Nope we’re going to keep it. If you’re gonna do that why are you yelling me at me for dropping off the wrong one?

Because we are ENTITLED to a tv, and hopefully you’ll bring the right one tomorrow.

I just shook my head and walked away. Called the boss, told him what’s up and he said just drive away and let Amazon handle it.

Funny part is he sent a picture a few minutes ago showing the right tv being loaded onto our Minneapolis afternoon line haul run.

So nope you won’t get your tv tomorrow.

sometimes I hate to love my job.

The customers are college kids here in Jamestown if that tells you anything.

 

I thank God Estes is a private company and I hope they stay that way. Since covid etc we've had huge pay raises and a bunch of other positive things. I pray it continues that way. Amazon is just a huge shark that can do whatever they want!

 

If you think they care about you, they don’t. If someone offers enough money, you will be bought. Nature of this beast.

 

Where did I say all that? Lol! Did I offend or upset you or something?
