yup its a brokered load, to get me out of NM since we dont have a terminal down here. I am going to Roswell, NM to load up then up to CO.

 

Should be a nice drive, des1. I'm getting back out there after 5 days of hometime. I really don't want to leave, but have to turn and burn to make some money...
After I got to CO, I sat over the weekend since dispatch had gone home by the time I was empty/available. If you will be delivering tomorrow afternoon, you may want to make a call to see if they can get something lined up for you after you deliver. I ended up with a nice, light load to Utah, then a heavy load back home. I delivered just right around the corner from the shop in SFS....
Maybe we'll cross paths again out there soon.

 

Thanks, Not sure if you heard, I have a pre hire with W/S and plan at this point on taking it, rioman is headed up to school to start on Monday, My training starts the 17th at the Community College and then I will be up there for my 10 days, I look forward to getting there they seem like a really good company, I want to get on with a company that will take care of me and get me home as often as possible, I know this is going to be a big change but I'm looking forward to my new career. TD, I need to catch you up, 30 day training was cancelled so I got the approval to go to a local trucking school, it looks like Western Trucking for me, class started this week and is $3295 cash price for 4 weeks. I need to retake combos so I should have my permit tomorrow so I am getting a little discount and attending 3 weeks. My wife reminded me I needed to retake the combo section. So in about a month I will be in Watkins Shepard 10 day orientation. I am looking forward to it.

 

Rio, you dont need combos for WS. yes they have them but theres a 99% chance you will never pull em. I have all my endorsements and wont use any it seems.

 

Well I am in Roswell, NM. I took a 10 hr reset tonight to get here since my 14 was up. Kinda strange to be up from 3am to 11pm. but I got some sleep between then to get me here now I am going to be sitting here until tommorow afternoon/nightish 6pm load time. Maybe I will see if I can drop the trailer and go check out some UFO stuff or something LOL..

Rioman, You know where I am, I look forward to hearing what happens, I would like to ask why did the 30 day get cancelled? Keep in touch. I'm thinking pretty seriously about the team thing, Looking at the wage and stuff... The time off looks really good, If we can get along for 3-5 weeks at a time and make it work out. I'm a jerk to live with.. ask my wife LOL. We will need to talk. I can't sleep so I am up on here. Thanks. TD.

 

Are you talking about the Combination Vehicle Test or the Doubles/Triples Test?

Because you NEED the Combination Vehicle Test to get the permit!
