Run I-5 corridor! $7000-$8000/WEEK! Sacramento Flatbed Owner Operators - transportation - job employment - craigslist

I think I may have spoken to them several years ago and they made a good impression on me. I'm trying to find the notes I had from then to confirm it was the same company. I had a short list of 3 or so companies I was going to pick from, it was obvious that my curtain van gig wasn't going to work on elogs unless I moved my home 20. Instead I sold the truck and took a local job that was gonna pay 100K per year.
That was a total BS failure, but it put me on the road to where I am now, retired, but I don't want to stop working. I'd love to find an open deck company to lease to where I could sorta hobby-truck it Out for three weeks, home for ten days or so.
I can afford to pay cash for a truck and trailer. between Social Security and a little income from a rental property I don't need for the truck to really support me. I do need it to pay its way.
When I was at MATS I had a really good conversation with a Landstar guy. Mercer seemed to like me too, but I know they don't have a lot of freight on the west coast.
All opinions and advice are welcome, including telling me I'm effing stupid for even thinking about buying another truck.

I'll bite....... Know nothing about them so poked around the web for a bit.

Looks like ATI is a division of Bridgeway who has a bunch of "carriers" under their umbrella. The mother ship would be located in PA.

    Freight Transportation Company - Bridgeway

Safer snapshot does not look too bad: SAFER Web - Company Snapshot ATI TRUCKING LLC

I would be tempted to swing by a yard and talk with an Owner operator or three, just to check the vibe if nothing else, before throwing my info to the recruiters.

I know out here they seem to haul mainly poles from what I’ve seen. Used to be a guy back home around Redding that was leased on to them for a bit. He seemed pretty happy.

Talk to one of the recruiters and ask them for five phone numbers for owner operators. If they don’t give it to you then they wanna hide something

Well i don't think anyone wants ppl giving their number out how bout you tell them to pass out your number and they'll call if they like no owner operator is obligated to call you and give any perspective about any company. I told Chris at Bridgeway to give my number to some owner operators to call me works better. Companies you never hear anything about are the companies that pays the most i found out living this life and that goes for anything. If everyone is talking and doing the same thing it aint all that good lol 3 to 5 dollars per mile not bad
