Hello from Serbia, I am a transplant from the States <started out in Ill. and sorta lived all over the country side>
My love of traveling/driving started when I used to ride in the cab of my dad's truck...my first car was 57 Chevy with a 5-speed Hurst shifter on the floor...from that point I was hook on just about anything that had speed..
I drove one ton dump truck long before I got a CDL or motorcycle lic... after I got a CDL, with all the classes listed on it EXCEPT for HazMat, I decided to drive Buses as well...ended up becoming a driver/trainer safety instructor for both buses and motorcycles..
Since I am on loan to Serbia for a while, I had to give up my CDL because I could not get back to the States in time to renew my lic...got the lic renewed but without CDL...
Part of the reason I came into this forum is that I was talking with a long haul trucker from here and he had questions about trucks from the States, laws and regulations...
I also have a Serbian neighbor who is a DOT inspector for the state of NJ... interesting turn of events eh?
