For the most part, looks reasonable. Could use a few more straps over the top. Then these pictures it is hard to be sure.

I pull a livestock trailer or dump mostly, walking floor seasonally. My best quarter, I averaged 6.2, that was back when I pulled reefer. I liked the reefer work, but goodness you couldn’t get a schedule going.

Maybe he feels each layer should be strapped? I'd say he put in more effort than a lot of drivers would considering the front and both rear stacks are X straped... Definitely don't think the driver is/was trying to be lazy in anyway.

Like the others have said, depending on what the material he's haulling is (looks like foam panels), and can't tell if the straps are 2 in or 4 inch. If the material hauled is foam, 2" straps are perfectly fine in that situation. If the material is 3 tiers or higher, he could have wrapped the one bundle higher, but he didn't, he put in 2 high, so if it wasn't over 6 foot, he actually was more astute doing it after the 2nd level. The X's only improve his load, and if the load is foam, if those are 2" straps, then they're fine. The picture isn't real clear with regard to perspective: - material, strap size, load height, etc...so....

I'd say either you haven't layed out the problem with specifics that could be questioned, just pictures, and pictures without any reference that can be used. That load if it's a light weight load material is actually pretty good. We may have put more over top, but that's us. If you think there's something wrong with this load, you need to spell it out, or read the manuals to see how he did it right, so you can learn. :)

That's foam board for sure. If that had been any other load that is an automatic fail. I would have used more straps than that. He had some weird straps in certain areas that didn't make sense. I'd say 7/10 job.

3406 sounds good for that application. Can't imagine you'd need more power than that. But that's just me.

So the load weighs less than 5k pounds and he has 10 straps = 50k pounds of securement. Not to mention x straps on front and back... every singular unit is secured.. belly straps to cut the load in half and edge protection to protect the material. Yet hes undersecured?... I see nothing wrong with it...some drivers got nothing better to do... op probably swings doors

Not flatbed, but happened in my hometown. I guess he cut the corner too tight. You need both lanes on that corner in a big truck. IMG_1387.jpeg
