It’s far from perfect. But it is a completely rust free all original body and floor pans. Still a clone as in its a factory 327 2 barrel power glide car. Originally sea foam green. Nobody wants a 66 Malibu with SS badges and a split bench seat. I should’ve mini tubbed it. But I opted to have the rear wheels special made to tuck those 275/60 15’s. Like that’s gonna hold a Dart 540 big block. With a solid roller cam 11.1 pistons Holley fuel injection with a Richmond T5 and 3:73 cogs.

We wanted an out of the 70’s look and feel with a little splash of modernization. A sleeper is what I was after. I was younger then and didn’t realize I was building a Papaw ride

Doing invoices and couldn't help looking at some pics at desk.

1961 my father on the left at about 11 with his father John on a 1956 LJ Mack. 300 Cummins and leased on to Cooper Jarret. And the song Big Bad John was released. Story is Gramps was mad as heck dad and grandma painted that on his truck.
