I'd say you're pretty lucky. I always worried about the damage one could do.

He was a little guy. I didnt have my brights on of course, so I didnt see him till the last second. But if he hadn't run back from the middle of the road I wouldn't even hit him.Friend, singlescrewshaker, CAXPT and 9 others Thank this.

I know of the disc brakes in the 80/90's. Hays maybe. 30/30 chamber, scam disc brakes with slack adjuster. On the class 8 stuff by the time I worked on it, they all had been removed.
Am I right to assume adjusting slack tight, back off a 1/2 turn to start?
Appreciate anyone's input. I never worked on one.Friend, singlescrewshaker, exhausted379 and 10 others Thank this. -
Skid steers are the only machine that makes me nervous. Working on one right now that caught fire around the engine. Operator had the bucket aimed down so the arms couldn't drop far enough to get the door open. He had to boot out the rear window to escape, right over the burning area.Walk Among Us, singlescrewshaker, exhausted379 and 10 others Thank this.
