Anyone else use one of these? I got the 2000 watt hour one to run my cooler and cookers. It does the job and I use the trucks inverter to charge it while I'm driving. They make a portable ac unit I was thinking about getting but I'm on the fence. Anyone have experience with there ac unit?

I have one sitting in the box, hasn't gotten to playing with it because it is 4ºF outside which it makes a great excuse to go to Florida for a week testing it.

Anywho, it is a 4000 btu unit and that's just enough to keep you cool in spring and maybe some summer nights but if your sleeper isn't super insulated and if you don't have the heat soak through the floor from the drive train, it will work very well.

A bit over two years since last post and reply but.. I'm a soon to be new independent contractor and was wondering if the power station was worth it? I am planning on purchasing a similar one from Anker to use for cooking, portable fridge, as well as fan for the summer nights.

    Thank you and stay safe.

I used an ecoflow 2000watt in my truck and it ran every thing in my truck. Was worth every penny. I used it for my oven, microwave, air freyer, TV and ps5. Not at the same time of course lol. If you wanting something to run an ac unit during the summer you would have to spend thousands on extra battery packs to have the run time. I used a champion 4800 watt gas generator for that. Could run my 8000 btu portable air conditioner 2.5 gallons of gas for 10 - 14 hours depending on outside temp. I left the I/C game last year after doing it for 6 years. My experience is on here if ya want a good read. I gave my numbers also. My lease adventure is the name of the thread. Hope it helps and good luck.

Thank you for the insight! I am planning on getting an EPU if business goes well before the winter time.. but in the meanwhile, a cool fan will have to do. I will definitely check out your previous posts and hope it was a good and memorable journey for you being an IC. It makes me nervous thinking about the jump and the costs of being an IC but excited too.
