Most places do, but there are some that don’t. When I drop and hook, it’s not uncommon to find the empty tank sitting there without a seal on the back and half of the dome lid handles unscrewed. Sometimes the lid will even be propped open a few inches. Always check the top before you drive off, even when it’s empty, so you don’t have problems during a DOT inspection. If they’re loose, fold the ears over the lid and spin the handles down snug.

Cool, thanks. I'm kinda hesitant to work on company's tank though, they might want "professional" to work on it, so I might just wait until tomorrow to take it to the Love's. You said you took Yeast from here?Friend Thanks this.

He’s talking about the dome lid.
Friend, Tanker_82 and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
Yeah, I know, I was also referring to brakes on the tank.Friend Thanks this.

It’s not my place to advise you on that since I work for Indian River. I can’t speak for your company or what would be best. Brake issues and whether you should go to a shop is different than giving you driving tips and helpful advice on a person-to-person level.Friend, d o g, nextgentrucker and 1 other person Thank this.

Technically you need to be certified to adjust brakes. Company I worked before had a class to certify you. That was probably 15 years ago. I have no idea about disc brakes. I asked a DOT officer in Kansas about disc brakes for adjustment and he told their isn’t really a way for you to do it but he said they usually only check pads to make sure they are not to thin.Friend, Speed_Drums, nextgentrucker and 2 others Thank this.
