Well it was great for parts sales. Had to keep a spare in the glove box at all times.

Some years ago I was watching an episode of American pickers, think they were in Oregon. They were at a guys place who had lots of old steam engines and steam traction engines as well as trucks and tractors.

They are always going on about vintage signs and memorabilia, when they walk out of the garage the camera is a good ways out in front of the garage so you could see quite a bit. Not sure if it was original or not, but there was an Old Abe statue and they walked right past it! I must’ve really raised my voice in protest since my wife ask what I was hollering about lol….

I'm not sure how it would compare, but I vividly remember the feeling of a magneto bite on an old TD14 in which you started the engine on gas and then switched to diesel. That was in 1977.

Loading at a warehouse today. Some door jockey wearing stained sweatpants and crocs was getting mad at the forklift guy and shipping office for loading him 40 pounds overwight... yes 40 pounds...who complains about 40 pounds???
No wonder why these shippers are always in a bad mood... even 1000 pounds over I'd probably run it, maybe that's just me... guess it depends where it's going...
but 40 pounds, a guys gonna burn that off in fuel by the time he gets thru the city...nevertheless he had them yank a whole pallet off. Lol

I’ve had places make me go around and dump 40 lbs. ADM in Memphis was famous for it. Load me on a scale I’m tell em 23k in the front run it up to 80 in the back. Then I’m hope I make it to nearest fuel stop cuz we empty. Quick Trip just off Front street in KC uses to look at me funny I’d roll in there. They were designed for auto diesel amazing at the folks don’t know liquid CAT food is all same
