Water in oil. Smell it
Rideandrepair and DT Trucker Thank this. -
When my E model starting having that, I was getting coolant mixing with my oil had the same sludge as showed in the picture but it was a little more thick then yours though. Pull a valve cover and make sure there is no sludge there.
Rideandrepair and DT Trucker Thank this. -
Definitely coolant in oil, coolant level was very low. Was it a cracked head in your truck or smth else?Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Could be anything right down to a bad water pump. Pull the oil pan and pressurize coolant system, that’s the only way to know for sure where it’s coming from.
Or you can poke and hope firing the parts cannonBanker, Oxbow, Rideandrepair and 5 others Thank this. -
Do you use any oil additives? In a c12 I ran 5 years ago I added some Lucas and had more blowby and some sludge . Next oil change didn’t add any and it went back to normal.
Oxbow and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
It was a leaking liner for me all of them had some very bad cavitation head wasn’t cracked which I was surprised so I rebuilt it for another use only.Oxbow, DT Trucker and Magoo1968 Thank this.
