I’ve been off the road for about 8 months taking care of family matters, but the time has come to return to the road. I’m looking around at a few places, but I wanted to see what I might have missed.
My wife needs to be able to come with me ( No, she doesn’t drive)
Fridge and inverter are a must (health/dietary)
Apu/epu, opt-idle, or just generally allowed to idle (again health related).
Prefer dry or tanker, but will consider reefer.
.55 cpm bare minimum but I’d rather it be higher (I was making .60 when I left)
No driver facing camera.
I’m not going to be micromanaged. I’m an adult and a professional. I don’t need to be told how to do my job.
I have around 3 years of experience and was with my last company a little over a year before I took a leave from driving. I’m not interested in going back to them for a multitude of reasons.
I’ve got tanker and doubles/triples endorsements, a twic card, and a passport. I can get hazmat if I have to, but it’s not a high priority. I also have a current and recent (1-2 months old) med card.
I will run most places (except NYC) and really prefer to be OTR (not a fan of New England, but I can run it).
Really I just want a decent truck that won’t break down every other load, reasonable miles, and to be left alone to do my job.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
