that oliver has a massive chain sprocket drive , its claimed that chain drive is about 20% more efficient.

100% going to drive that Model T!

Driven a Model BB a few times, I'm sure a T will be quite an experience too.

Actually the chain drive is on the Case DC4. The D & C series used the chain drive along with some number series tractors of that time period like the early 30 series….

 

Those JD Lindeman can be worth some decent coin if complete, don’t see many around. They use the same style 2 cylinder horizontal engine as the farm tractor like the A, B, & H….

 

Remember a while back we were trying to identify that old Case tractor my old man had? Don't know if I ever shared the story or not but I happened to be out at a farm on a service call and I got chatting with the farmer's son about tractors while I was getting the A/C going in their seeding tractor. Turns out he was trying to restore the same model of tractor that belonged to his grandfather. Made a quick call home and dad said if he comes and picks it up he can have it. He comes by the shop now and then to get stuff fixed, sounds like he got some useable parts and pieces off it. Last time I talked to him it sounded like he's very close to having his tractor completely restored.

 

If you ever ended up out that way the museum is worth a visit. Its all about the machine - cars, trucks, bikes, planes, mining shovels. They even have the oldest Chevy Classic Six known to exist.

Every Labour Day long weekend they put on the Harvest Festival where they bring out all the old traction engines, plows, threshers etc and give live demonstrations with them in the field around the main building.

Seen the truck in the workshop while they were finishing it up. The workshop is fully viewable from a hallway inside the museum.

 

That definitely would be cool…!!

Gotta get to the home 20 once in a bluemoon, make sure the house is still standing, & cut the grass around it so I can find the front door.. lol

Back to the spot market on my drop deck, but looks pitiful as ever... I've survived it a time or 2 though.

For some reason, long haul hopper seems appealing all the sudden? But I know nothing of lanes, rates, customer base. Jump'n to a whole sumthin new blind in this market don't seem wise either..?

Ole Lady says I can run a grass truck for the summertime at her work, but something bout a drive'n a'16 Int Prostar just sounds like an abomination..
Gonna try talk him into using me as an outside truck, but corporate may not go for it..?
