Unfortunately not. I unplugged at both terminals and the display went off. Replugged and error message is still there. I assume maybe I need to remove it and give it a good cleaning or service if. It’s working for now at least hopefully it won’t clunk out this winter before I get around to justifying fixing it.

Mine has not fired on the first try in years. Seriously. It always fires on about the 3rd try though and has never left me without heat. Occasionally I get a 'failure to fire' message or something like that. I just unplug and plug back in and it fires up and works.
I've never cleaned it, never run kerosene through it, never fired it up out of season like you're supposed to. I guess I've been lucky.Matt1924 Thanks this. -
Know this is an older thread but it relates to my thermo king tri pack heater not working. The APU , AC, and inverter all work with no issues. Just no heat.
In checking out under the truck, I see the 2 coolant lines running from the main engine compartment connect to manifold at the heater, then they continue on the the APU engine looks like it has a radiator. figure one is a feed and one a return up to the main system, havent checked to see where they connect up there. Does this mean its equipped with the artic package?
While looking under the truck, I see a bung on the top of the fuel tank, has 3 small lines coming out of it - 2 run to the APU figure this is to the fuel pump feed and a return , and one has a black rubber hose which I believe is to the tri pack heater, however its just a hose end dangling with no connection. I also find a different plastic looking line encased in a split loom that runs to the area where the heater is mounted to the cab floor where I see what looks like an air intake and a longer steel flex pipe that routs back to the rear of the cab, figure thats the heater exhaust. But the plastic line has a small section of rubber hose clamped to it but not connected to anything either
I presume this is where a fuel filter gets put in line from tank to heater? Anyone know a part number or where I can get a filter for this setup? I bought the truck used and I dont know how long this has been missing, lines not connected. Should I try to blow them out with air before putting a filter in. Is there any specific start up sequence or maintenance I should perform prior to trying to start it up?
Thanks for any help provided, -
so more world wide web research indicates that the fuel pump is what is missing, I have ordered one from ebay for 60 bucks. guess that is the power connection that was dangling there as well. Was also able to find the operator and installation manuals on line as well as the software to be able to do remote diag on the tri pak

diesel heater fuel pump shouldn't cost anywhere near $60. The Amazon ones are fine.
Weird that yours is missing. perhaps it fell off? Seems unlikely though since it's connected 3 ways (hose on either side and electric plug).

Yes, makes me think it was purposely removed

Got the new fuel pump, thank you for the link. Going to install it this weekend.

You can see all the settings, clear trouble codes if any.86scotty Thanks this. -
Yep, I did that years ago. I'm a Mac guy so I had to get a PC laptop to do it. I've moved on from Tripac and I'm a lot happier having an APU that always works nowadays.
