    Im beginning to think all of these chicago based, lease to purchase trucking companies are a scam. Ive been working with 1st Platinum Freight and they have not paid me accurately or timely since ive been here. Its been excuse after excuse every payday. They make you work 2 weeks before they pay for the first load or two you deliver then good luck after that. You will be lead on, you will be lied to, they wont follow up with you. Escrow!??? Hahaha.. good luck. You pay $500 every paycheck and dont look for any kind of return. And im a company driver. Do yourself a favor and dont even look their way.

    They did me the same way . Drove over 6400 miles the last 2 weeks before they sent me home for Christmas. They blocked my number with no reasoning/explanation . I still have yet to receive my Paycheck , Reimbursement for ( Loadstraps and Loadlocks , Oil or Fuel I had to put in with my own money . Stay away from 1st platinum freight . I still have all the Pictures of my BoL’s , Times and Dates , and Text . I don’t even Know what a MisCommunication Charges is . Who is filing on them ?

    So why not pay them a visit in person, with a tally of what they owe? Sometimes a bully needs to be taken down a notch.

    you are mostly correct from what we have seen from posters on here.

    1099 CAN be ok, BUT most aren't.

    Exactly right. If the company's cash flow and credit rating is so poor that they can't pay road expenses, stay away from them.
