The perils of having a young girlfriend

 

Olds Built the 5.7 under GM directions. Factory in Caddy,Olds,GM pickups. Some others. They had great possibilities. But due to GM cheapness ruling over Olds. The wrong heads were used, no fuel water separation, and no training for techs. And vehicle owners were clueless. Just like the techs.

Now it does make a awesome gas engine converted back. The DX block you machine the fuel pump boss off and all Olds parts fit. Very stought block. Capable to go over 560 cu. in of I recall. Tons got drag raced. Idk if in these days if cost effective. When you can call summit and get a new dart BBC block. But sure neat.

 

It was a 81, took the 350 gas out of my 77 and put in it, made a dependable car out of it…

Nissan stadium in Nashville tonight. The kids got us tickets for Christmas. My wife was going to see them about 6 months before we met 34 years ago but had a car wreck and broke her pelvis & couldn't go. So she's finally here.

Thunderstruck tour was my first rock and roll show I ever went to see. It was at Barton coliseum in Little Rock. A Month later or so they were at the Mud island Amphitheater in Memphis so we went again.

 

Funny you say that, I have had much of the same feeling in that area. There is some weird energy up there

 

I think we might go a whole year without that much rain.. lol
