I remember pulling up to space x to off load at an area with 4 tanks. And the back of another trailer had a huge plume of nitrogen hovering across the ground and the cold box. I quickly stopped and ran over thinking my coworker was gone. But he was standing in the middle of the box like nothing was wrong.

He replied its all good. Im just cooling the pump down and purging the line. I said it looks like you had purged the life out of your body when I pulled up!!!

We don't see too many of the old warnings on tanks anymore.

My bud got so sick of convoys to Cape Canaveral he came back up north. Said he'd rather deal with winter

So I just spotted that Genox had a regional opening near me. Going from Montreal QC to Madison ME. But if I remember right. They might want me to live near one of their terminals. Otherwise that would be good for me. I live just over a half hour from Madison

Ok talked with them about the job. Its sort of drop and hook at $36/hour. But no overtime pay. Unsure on anything extra. I guess no per diem. Because working in state. Opinion on it?

    Depends on the estimated hours.
Less than 50 it's OK, but if they bump 70 I would decline unless you can reconcile the loss of OT cash..maybe they don't pay OT up that way.

So I looked it up. According to Massachusetts law truck drivers are excluded. So that's why. Still it might be good option for me to run cryo. Especially since will stay close to home.

Any of you guys dealing with burnout?

I seem to lose patience and get angry at the dumb and dangerous crap around me very easy..it spikes my blood pressure and me thinks I should take some FMLA time to reset.
A mental health break as it were, to ensure I can make it to December so I can escape alive..lol

Anyone else feeling frustrated in our posistions.
Between the operating parameters of the company and the out of control highway shenanigans I see, I sometimes think there aren't any rules/laws out here anymore. I spend more time trying to dodge morons than anything else.
