I am done farting around with the seals meat plants use. Those things can be used on an aircraft carrier anchor chain. I want to snip quick and easy. Please advise.

Bolt cutters

You talking about cable seals? I tried a few knippers over the years but the best thing I found was a cordless Dewalt angle grinder with a cutoff wheel.

Some are better than others. Never found a pair that was worth a crap. Bolt cutters will cut the center lead piece that the cables go into just fine. I still preferred the angle grinder.

These are what I've seen at some places I've been to that they use to snip braided cable seals. They work really well. I've not been able to find any at any stores. If you can find a pair please post as to where at.MACK E-6, Sons Hero, hotrod1653 and 2 others Thank this. -

I’ve seen these powered cutters used at a gate station of a high-volume food distributor. They go through those bolt seals like nothing is there. Very expensive, though.
