    Had a killer 10 day stretch as far as fuel mileage is concerned Ohio to California 8.4mpg, California to GA 8.7mpg, and Ga. to Iowa 9.4mpg.

    Have another Kawasaki load only weighing 10K going from Lincoln to Savannah so should be in the mid 8s.

    Christy Walton… Walmart came out with a statement night before last basically saying we have nothing to do with her. She has nothing to do with the company because Walmart was worried what was fixing to come when people found out

    Fortunately I’m far enough outside of Beirut on the Bay that it can burn completely to the ground for all I care and I wouldn’t know about it until I heard it on the radio. Couldn’t happen to a nicer #### hole.

    Flatbed/flat tire update

    Busy week it feels like to have only turned 3,065 miles

    Nashville to fort dodge
    Fort dodge to Fremont
    Fremont to valley
    Valley to Brenham Tx
    Brenham to Houston
    Houston to Lincoln
    Lincoln to valley


    I grab my 15k lb load from valley (here is where I saw I had a soft drive tire) and drag it up to Fremont at a reduced speed. Pull in to Fremont, tire is no longer on the bead. Tell R about the service and the tire and he gives me the “uh-huh I bet” look. Truck gets serviced, tire replaced, washed some laundry and got some food.

    Heading back to Brenham for Monday
