A long time ago, my experience was good with Sage and my good driving, drug free life style attracted the best of companies. But I was horrified to read current student complaints about not finding jobs, about lies and abusive treatment by Sage… and adding my recent horrible expedience with Sage… Sage is unreliable and abusive. I tried to report the horrible experience and they laughed. They have developed a bad reputation among current drivers… and they even laughed and ridiculed me when I tried to bring their bad rating and reviews to their attention!. State community Colleges and state driving schools are a fraction of Sage. Instructors and administrators such as Brittany are held accountable. Check local community colleges… they have educated, experienced and polite instructors. Don’t consider Sage. They are overpriced and have many liabilities and no real advantages
Sage is a horrible choice for a truck driving school, it's a big rip off!!!

The state. Supported community colleague often offer CDL A Driver training for a FRACTION OF THE COST you will suffer at Sage. Save your money and go to a local CC or a state supported program… Swift and others will pay you while they train you… even feed you!
Sage was great years ago … but now… believe me, you don’t want to waste your money‼️ -

Hey man, I attended Sage here in Jacksonville Florida and experienced the same treatment and disregard to my education and training. I also mentioned having a small learning disability and was messed with repeatedly until ultimately being kicked out of school. I was told I would be receiving a full refund, however I haven't received any receipts or documents of this actually being the case. [ I would love to connect with you on your experience] as I agree Sage should be held accountable for their Breach of Contracts and sued in a class action format. I am currently legally pursuing a independent lawsuit against the school here in Jacksonville Florida and wrapping up a few loose ends before they get served. Anyone else who is experiencing Sage misconduct, contract breaches, discriminatory behavior, fraud and or predatory practices upon recruitment should exchange #s and or emails and file a Class Action Lawsuit against them. This seems to be how they operate all over the world. I hope you've found a better school and you get your CDL.

Why not just attend a trucking company cdl school? Simple, attend a trucking company cdl school, stay for 12 months after graduation, then move on to another company. People saying trucking company schools are ripoffs, don't even have a cdl, so how would they know anything about it.buzzarddriver Thanks this.

I dont have a full CDL but I do have a permit and used youtube and the internet to study on my own. These low budget schools are a ripoff, and everybody cant afford to go to the bigger CDL schools that actually do provide and give you the road experience you need to be successful. When you're excited about doing something different for yourself and a person infront of you plays off that excitement with broken promises or misleading information its hard to see right away through the excitement that you're being bluffed and set up for debit. You sound like like one of the people we are talking about. Do you your job as you signed up for or dont be a teacher, now thats simple!!!

I don't know why anyone would pay out of pocket for schooling
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Well I did when I attended Sage. I was told my tuition amount and before starting I had the option of putting down $1000 dollars with a 4% interest rate or paying the $1250 out of $4000 with No interest at all. I paid the $1250. Sage I believe does in house financing and makes you pay before you can start any classes. If this ain't how it's suppose to be done, then again Sage is in violation of the laws and policies. If this is okay to do, then I'm assuming you live in a State where ya'll aren't ask to do the same. Sage remains a horrible school, and honestly I'm in a different state from complaints that were made against Sage on the BBB website. From those complaints and me being in a totally different State, i have the same complaints as those students made and a bunch of back and forth conversation between myself and Sage potentially showing a pattern of abusive and deceptive pratices as what they stated I have in documentation! And alot of it....
