Signing my log book

Finally one sees the light!

 

What is so hard about this one...as soon as you enter the first digit of the date...technically you should be signing your log...as it clearly states:

The driver’s signature certifies that all entries required by this section made by the driver are true and correct

All entries...one digit or the whole page complete for the day...ALL ENTRIES ARE TRUE AND CORRECT!

This is not a legal contract, a mortgage, or a loan application...it is a daily log...ALL ENTRIES ARE TRUE AND CORRECT!

What on earth makes this so confusing to every driver out on the highways?

Absolutly correct!

Yeah....But, Supertruckerdude is the expert and everyone else is just lucky to have him here to assist in the comprehension of the complicated legal web of lies and deciet...I've seen and heard so many of these geniuses at truckstops and on the CB over the years telling unsuspecting newbies this nonsense that I just cringe whenever I hear ths garbage!
His comprehension of the written statutes is limited and deeply flawed but his knowledge is to exstensive to accept that fact.

I have argued the point before where it says by signing you certify that all entries are true and correct,,If its not complete or your day is not over yet, how do you know if its true and correct?! I have tried it before where during having my log checked it not be signed and said this they just said sign it,so I thought i better..

 

Hey freedom first. Maybe you should apply with CR England, with your vast knowledge of the regulations they'd probably make you safety director.

 

They are asking you to CERTIFY THAT ALL ENTRIES ARE TRUE AND CORRECT!

How do you know if it's true and correct? Simple log it as you do it, and do it legal!

 

don't those poor drivers over there already have enough problems...now you want them to have the ULTIMATE IN TRUCKSTOP LAW!

Very cruel to others on the highway...shame on this thought...besides they might try and look him up and offer him the job...way to go outer!!!!!

 

Na I run on the rules god made..He didnt say to run 11 and stop for 10..He simply said do whats right so i run safe and do unto others as I would have done unto me...thats the golden rule the one I live by...I run when im rested and stop when im tired...
