OK Guys--
Anytime I ask a question you always help me out with an answer.
While driving down the road and speeding up to around 50 and 60 MPH there is a vibration. Also the wheel will shake back and forth if not held firmly. I've looked at the steering connections and they all seem okay and not loose. Any guesses at the cause and solution to this issue?
BTW--before this started to happen the truck was pulling a little to the right (a probable alignment issue).

Could be anything. Nobody can tell you what the problem is from behind a keyboard. You'll get a bunch of guesses. Take the truck to a good spring shop. There are endless threads here about this. Probably one posted every week.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Every truck Ive driven where the steering wheel shook like that it was kingpins needed replaced...

I had a steering output shaft break, the one exotong the steering gear box, shop kept saying nothing wromg, till one night whrn ot made itself evident as to where the vibration came from. Cost them the tractor and trailers when the tractor rolled over. 3 weeks of write ups for vibration from the front end between 45 and 60 mph

Don’t guess, bring it to a good shop and have them go through it.
