Hello need help with my prostar. It’s hard to crank and blowing black smoke out the exhaust. Takes me about 10 times turning the key until it finally starts and even than it doesn’t stay on sometimes. Truck has been deleted as well so it’s hard to tell what the problem is as it does not give any codes. Had fuel injectors 1 and 6 changed out because they were reading erratic and still aftewards its doing the same thing. If anybody has had this issue or knows what the problem may be please let me know.

Take the air filter out before you try starting next time.
If no black smoke, or it starts easy, the air filter needs replacing.

    Coffey Thanks this.

Any luck? What did you do to fix this issue? Everybody says, "Just sell it..."
