    I wish Trump would do something about that. It isn't fair that low-wage Mexican drivers can go anywhere in the U.S. when nobody can(wants to) deliver into Mexico.

    Talk to Bush II, he's the one who agreed to it. Obama delayed it as long as he could.

    Or better yet, talk to Trump - he didn't do anything when he renegotiate NAFTA.

    Any federally funded US highway shall have a modern rest stop ever X number of miles with X number of parking spaces. These truck spaces will be a safe haven from local government idle restrictions and random dot enforcement.

    Drivers need proper rest without fear of harassment.

    There, that’s how it gets done.

    Any village, town or city that receives a delivery by truck must have at least two parking spaces per ten trucks. They must be free and half must have reasonable access to facilities (ie, no more than half a block walk). You have six months to comply and any area found not in compliance will be federally prohibited from receiving any goods until they are in compliance.

    I think that will kill off the nimby’s and solve parking.
