I’ll believe it when I see it.
They’ve been talking about adding truck parking for YEARS along the I-4 corridor in Florida, and the NIMBYs there have been fighting it tooth and nail!!

 

This is exactly what I was going to say. Talk to me when it actually happens.

 

I'd be happy to get per diem back at the end of the year instead of per diem pay.

 

Never changed for me. Company keeps track of my location and deducts per diem from my tax bill based on the days away from home.

 

And just like New England, any municipality frankly that complains about adding truck parking and doesn’t want trucks in their jurisdiction, then we need to stop delivering to those areas for a period of time. They’ll get the hint very quickly after that
